A remake of the classic horror film about Carrie White, a shy outcast who doesn't fit in at school and doesn't have many friends. She is sheltered by her very religious mother who punishes her daughter by locking her under the stairs. When Carrie is pushed too far at her senior prom all is revealed about her and her powers.
